Final Phase of the New HQ building
TNG construction nearing completion.
It was exciting, this morning, to see the huge glu lam beams being set in place by the contractors crane and to see the final phase of our new headquarters building nearing completion. The massive glu lams are a part of our designed deck and canopy off the first floor that will be a hallmark of this creative space. Accesible through the three sets of double doors on the first floor, it's designed to be a place for staff, clients and friends to take in the view the Willamette River, Mt. Hood and the South Waterfront Development just to our north.
The Three Rivers Decking guys are really good at what they do and I would highly recommend them to anyone wanting to install a beautiful outside space. And, while I'm at it, my kudos to the William Wilson Architectural firm, Todd Hess Building Company, Deca Design, Master Plan Remodeling and scores of other contractors that did an amazing job with our remodel of the 1901 structure. (I'll get some before and after pictures put together soon) So next time your cruising down Macadam by the Avalon Hotel, look up to the west and you'll see our special spot; the blue roof and deck; you can't miss it. Stop by, if you'd like, for a tour.
